Tucson, Arizona, USAAnglesite is often a mineral which adopts habits not readily recognisable and at Tsumeb it adopts numerous habits and guises. This one-of-a-kind small cabinet specimen comes with a Lawrence H. Conklin label of New York and displays a large, 4.0 x 2.8 x 1.0 cm terminated Anglesite crystal protruding from a complex matrix of roughly 5 mm Anglesite crystals intergrown with what appears to be a black metallic sulphide, probably Chalcocite, which form sharp hackly patches and fronds. The Anglesite ranges from colourless sections of the main crystal to a prevailing reddish milk chocolate brown.
