A delightful specimen of intergrown, sharp rhombic crystals of Calcite measuring to 1.4 cm on edge, colourless to translucent white from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia. Individual crystals grow to over 1.5 cm on edge. The sharp rhombohedral crystals have a bright, highly reflective glassy lustre and are particularly aesthetic because of their outer colourless shell framing the inner translucent core. Yet another lovely habit of Calcite from Tsumeb.
