A very fine off-matrix scalenohedral Calcite crystal with attached smaller crystals in sub-parallel growth, from the 60 fathom Level North, in Golconda mine at Brassington in Derbyshire. The dominant crystal is 10 cm long and many of the smaller crystals are doubly terminated. All the crystals have a bright waxy lustre, naturally-etched shallow surface lines and are an attractive translucent creamy-honey.
