A superb cabinet size Goethite from the P?'bram Mining District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. Entirely covering a matrix of milky Quartz containing layered reddish-black Sphalerite, the Goethite forms a hillocky landscape of oblong and spherical crystal masses, mainly of dark chocolate browns grading to semi-lustrous black. Within the valley-like depressions, the Goethite retains its micro acicular habit, adding highlighted blushes of golden-bronze. A choice example of crystallised Goethite from P?'bram.
