Appearing from the display side as a Calcite stalactite, this handsome array of deep salmon-orange prismatic Calcite crystals are developed along a hidden rib of green-tinged Calcite veinstone. From the P?'bram Mining District in the Czech Republic, the individual calcite crystals average 1.3 cm tall and have trigonal terminations and an overall bright glassy lustre. Individual crystals are generally slightly tapered towards their terminations and on close examination are seen to be preferentially coloured orange from certain direction. The specimen appears to have no damage and is of delightful form, colour and lustre.
