A simply gorgeous specimen of Calcite crystals most of which are partly or entirely coated with bright lustrous Pyrite. From the P?'bram mining district in the Czech Republic, the Calcite forms spiky, spire-like crystals to over 3 cm tall, many coated with tiny lenticular Calcites of translucent light grey. The Pyrite forms bright brassy-golden crystals of 1 mm and smaller, most showing the pyritohedral form. A delightful and most pleasing specimen from the P?'bram District.
