An aesthetic domed specimen of 3 to 5 mm nail-head Calcite crystals from the Egremont iron mining district in west Cumbria, England. The Calcite is translucent and colourless to milky-white, with an overall milky-white appearance. Mainly to the sides of the specimen, areas of the Calcite have pinkish-red Hematite inclusions giving the specimen an attractive pink blush.
