Rhodonite with Galena$800.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A magnificent example of the classic combination of Rhodonite crystals embedded and protruding from a bight silver matrix of cleaved Galena. From North Mine at Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia, the Rhodonite forms particularly large blocky crystals, although not all are terminated. The largest Rhodonite crystal measures 2.5 cm tall x 1.4 cm wide and tapering from 1.2 cm deep at its base to 0.7 cm at the apex. The Rhodonite is a rich deep cherry-red, is translucent to semi-opaque and the flat prism faces display a brilliant glassy-silver lustre.
