Two lozenge-shaped, deep cherry-red Rhodonite crystals attached to a little bright silver Galena from North Mine at Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia. The slightly larger of the two crystals measures approximately 1.7 x 1.3 x 0.4 cm. The largest crystal is essentially opaque, although it does transmit a little light and has a translucent termination. The smaller crystal is virtually all translucent.
