Wire transfers available, to set up
A matrix of creamy-tan, naturally etched, gossan-vein Quartz has its top face completely covered with rich butterscotch-orange bladed crystals of Wulfenite from Bleiberg in Carinthia, Austria. The blades are of a uniform colour and size, averaging around 8 to 10 mm wide, 8 mm high and 1 to 2 mm thick. The Wulfenite crystals form in an intergrown grid-like pattern, with crystals frequently aligned at ninety degrees to one another. Three blades are very slightly damaged along small lengths of their terminations, but this is only readily visible under low magnification. A rich specimen of an intense and beautiful colour from the Type Locality for Wulfenite.
