Tucson, Arizona, USAA miniature of the classic Campylite variety of Mimetite from the Dry Gill Mine, high above Roughton Gill in the Caldbeck Fells, Cumbria, England. Highly lustrous, burnt toffee-orange spherical aggregates of curved, barrel-shaped crystals have developed to 6 mm in diameter and are scattered over a mixed matrix of glassy grey Baryte, white Quartz and sooty-black manganese oxides. A great representative specimen of Campylite from this world-famous locality.
