Excellent, sharply formed colourless intergrown rhombic crystals of Calcite measuring to 9 mm are developed over an olive to lime-green Mottramite matrix. This is a classic association from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia and towards the late 1980s such specimens were often seen at mineral shows. Sadly this is not the case today, making this a good opportunity to acquire such gemmy Calcite rhombs framed against velvety green Mottramite.
