An open crystal display of classic gemmy colourless 'dog tooth' habit Calcite from the West Cumberland Iron Ore Field, Cumbria. Crystals of Calcite are formed in a beautiful hedgehog-like configuration on a light brown Goethite matrix. One crystal measuring to 3.4 cm is double terminated. A very attractive specimen from the Iron mines.
