Excellent large cabinet specimen of pyramidal faced and terminated crystals of Calcite. From Pallaflat Mine, Bigrigg, Cumbria. Variously orientated crystals of lustrous Calcite are colourless, some with pinkish inclusions of Hematite, measuring to 2.4cm, on a matrix of Hematite and Dolomite. A great display of Calcite from the Iron mining area.
