Tucson, Arizona, USAA great small cabinet specimen of lemon-yellow Mimetite crystals up to 1 cm long, individually, yet richly, scattered over several stacked Dolomitic plates ranging from light salmon pink to light smoky grey. This lovely example is from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia and is typical of the arsenate mineralisation in this karstic environment. The Mimetite is translucent, forming plume-like acicular crystals with a frosted texture and bright glassy lustre.
