A rich specimen of Cuprite from a seldom seen location at the Marke Valley Mine. The Cuprite forms highly lustrous drusy mostly octahedral crystals. The sparkling Cuprite crystals have grown from a compact crystalline Cuprite base, with minor associated Quartz. A rich specimen from this Copper mine on the edge of the Bodmin Moor granite.
