A large triangular plate of massive milky-white Calcite, tinged delicate pink in part, is totally masked over the top surface with glassy, colourless semi-transparent to translucent nail-head Calcite crystals. The crystal habit is that of the typical nail-head form; hexagonal in cross section; alternating broad and narrow prism faces and Mercedes-style, three-point star terminations. The terminations are lightly striated and all have a bright glassy lustre. A superbly crystallised Calcite from the P?'bram mining district in Central Bohemian, Czech Republic.
