A very characteristic cerise pink Cobaltoan Calcite miniature from Tynebottom mine at Garrigill on Alston Moor, England. At Tynebottom, Cobaltoan Calcite forms as a dip-stone formation and in this vividly coloured example covers three faces of a dark-grey to grey Limestone. The Tynebottom mine is relatively well known by British collectors for this variety of pink Calcite.
