Description
Lots of stepped stacked growth crystals of Calcite adorn this old time specimen from the famous Herodsfoot Mine, Cornwall. Crystal aggregates measure to 2.5cm grown over a white Quartz matrix with inter grown spherulites of brassy Pyrite. We seldom see specimens of Calcite from a mine that is renowned for the specimens of cogwheel Bournonite.
