Description
A gemmy to translucent cluster of blocky, pseudo-hexagonal Calcite crystals from the Broken Hill ore body in New South Wales, Australia. Calcite crystals measuring to 4 cm display internal phantoms together with granular inclusions of micro-Spessartine garnet and country rock. Well crystallised Calcite is uncommon from the Broken Hill mines and this is a good example, fine for display.
