An excellent Calcite and so typical of the habit frequently seen from the Wenshan mine in Yunnan, China. Colourless and almost transparent, sharp pyramidal crystals form a stalactitic, sceptre-like specimen, with small 2 to 4 mm crystals covering the stem and large crystals to 2.5 cm forming the flower-like head. A terrific specimen from this interesting locality.
