Two well developed and lustrous, characteristically dark, intergrown pyramidal crystals of Scheelite measuring to 1.3 cm nestle amongst a druse of stacked, millimetre-scale rhombic Dolomite crystals, in turn coating Quartz crystals. From the Baia Sprie mining district in northern Romania, the Dolomite grades from pearly snow white, adjacent to the almost black Scheelite crystals, to cream tinged delicate pale pink. The base is composed of semi-crystallised Pyrite and minor black Sphalerite.\n
