Description
An arborescent spray of flattened Native Copper crystals to over 12 cm in length from the St. Day mining district to the north-east of Redruth in Cornwall. Together with a few patches of milky quartz, the Copper appears to have grown in a narrow fracture or joint surface and does not exceed 4 mm in overall width. It has an attractive and varied patina, ranging between a rusty copper-red and verdigris green. A good showy Copper from this most famous of Cornish mining districts.
