Wow, what a gorgeous green colour for a Hydroxylherderite! This small cabinet specimen is a beauty. It is from Dache in the Haramosh Mts., Skardu District, Baltistan in the northernmost part of Pakistan and is from the Jesse Fisher and Joan Kureczka collection. The Hydroxylherderite is the eye-catcher - vivid green, well-formed, and nearly 5 cm in length - but it has the addition of a lovely sharp Topaz crystal alongside. Both the Topaz and Hydroxylherderite are perched upon a piece of Microcline Feldspar for dramatic effect. It is rare to see a Hydroxylherderite of this size and quality - simply stunning.
