Tucson, Arizona, USAUnusual gemmy, lustrous, yellow to orange-tipped translucent terminated prismatic colourless to cream coloured Mimetite crystals sit within an open cavity in dark sulphide matrix on this large miniature specimen from Tsumeb mine in Namibia. The longest Mimetite crystal measures an impressive 2.3 cm in length and all display excellent glassy steeply pyramidal terminations. The prism sides show lovely parallel growth lines perpendicular to their length. Minor Cerussite crystals are also present with the cavity. This is a super Mimetite, full of character and detail.
