Slightly curved rhombohedral crystals of smoky-brown Smithsonite coat a matrix of granular gunmetal-grey Galena, with many crude, granular Galena crystals. A terrific small miniature from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia. The largest Smithsonite crystal is 1.7 cm long (maximum dimension) with the crystals grading from an intense smoky-brow to light tan.
