This fabulous miniature of the tin-lead-antimony-iron sulphosalt Cylindrite, is an excellent example of the species and contains a number of very fine cylindrical crystals of up to 8 mm diameter. This is from its type locality within Poop' Province in the Oruro Department of Bolivia. The Cylindrite forms a typical massive cluster of aligned cylindrical, grey-black crystals which appear silver due to their brilliant metallic lustre. A choice specimen of this relatively rare complex sulphosalt.
