Tucson, Arizona, USAThis excellent specimen of intergrown thick tabular burnt-orange crystals of Wulfenite, individually measuring to 1.5 cm on edge, is from the classic area of the Los Lamentos Mountains in Chihuahua, Mexico. Unusually, for the location, the Wulfenite crystals form a solid plate rather than individuals scattered upon Calcite matrix, but they all present the classic 'wet' resinous lustre. Small cabinet in size and mounted upright upon a chamfered clear acryllic base, this specimen presents extremely well. Ex Dirk Rheinlander Collection.
