The orpiments from Nevada have made people lose sight in some respects of what was formerly the classic orpiment locality, PERU, where this specimen came from. And in fact, for Peru, these crystals are VERy sharp and even have luster to them, which is uncommon for this locality. From the Joyce Fent thumbnail collection we are dispersing. 2.9 x 2.4 x 1.9 cm
