Daoping is renowned for its superb Pyromorphites, and this complex cluster more than holds up its end of that bargain in terms of reputation. The apple-green Pyros have very good luster and form, and the largest crystal extends a full 2 cm on one side of the piece. Hoppered growth, the result of polysynthetic crystal growth, is one of the hallmarks of many Daoping Pyromorphites, and this habit is highly coveted. China has been one of the most productive countries for new material over the last two decades, with Daoping being THE most significant of a few nearby producing localities. The aesthetics of this small cab are stunning form any angle, due to large and dramatic crystallization. It is from a special small pocket of such crystals found in middle of 2019, and I hand carried it back from China myself. The piece can be displayed equally well from both sides. NOTE: this cannot be shipped, but we can usually arrange hand delivery.
