Smithsonite
This attractive miniature is from the well-known Hilarion Mine in Lavrion. Composed of lustrous, light-blue, botryoidal Smithsonite on top of green-blue Smithsonite of another generation (perhaps colored by inclusions of Adamite), it is the wavy and curvy features of the Smithsonite that really catch the eye. The blue layer is highly lustrous, and it culminates in a 2 cm ball that has a textured surface not unlike a broccoli crown. Between the color, luster, and texture, this specimen resembles many of the pieces from the great Kelly Mine and it would be so easy to simply relabel it a Kelly (New Mexico) specimen at thrice the price - it looks just like classic mid-1900s American material! In the world of Smithsonites, that is one of the best resemblances that you could hope for. This aesthetic miniature was collected in 2018.
