The photos and video say it all - this kunzite crystal is as literally like a 103 gram piece of pink glass! It is absolutely windowpane clean and transparent, and it definitely sparkles. This is a significant old specimen from the Pala Chief Mine, thought to have come out in the 1960s via Bob Dawson. However, the mine has produced kunzite on and off over years, mostly notably 1903-1914 (see mindat.org). This is a showstopper in a case, and note the large size! Comes with custom base. From the important and long held personal San Diego County Collection of William "Bill" Larson, longtime owner of the Himalaya Mine, discoverer of the famous Queen Mine BlueCap pocket, and numerous other San Diego mining projects over the last 60 years and more.
