This is a very good pair of Vesuvianite crystals from the quite famous, and now closed, Jeffrey Mine in Asbestos, Quebec. The rather unique Vesuvianites from there have aspects of Manganoan (purple) and normal (green/gold) varieties. The largest crystal measures 2.3 cm long, and both have good luster, well-formed terminations and attractive color. There is minor wear, but for the size and beauty, these are fine quality for the species
