This is an etched, complicated, vivid sky blue crystal of aquamarine from the rich gem deposits of the Jos Plateau in Nigeria. It is complete, doubly terminated, and sharp on both ends - a floater! 19 grams. Bill Larson purchased this about 20 years ago in the early 2000s, from a parcel of gem rough coming direct from the source. It has since been in the personal and company collections of Larson and his company, Pala Intl. Complete Jos aquamarines rarely survive being broken up into cutting material.
