An elegant, curvaceous gold "leaf" from this classic American locality, often associated with the Gold Rush era specimens. Specimens like this are in museums, dating to the 1800s. However, a modern era pocket was found by metal detector in the 1970s, and this is more likely from that find, due to its pristine condition. Complete all around, it is a floater "leaf" of crystallized gold. This is a full miniature, from a classic and hard to obtain USA locale.
