The ArkenstoneFeatured
An amazing gold specimen from a single small grapefruit-sized pocket found in Bolivia in January of 2019, and brought to Tucson still enclosed in the quartz-filled pocket it came out of the mine in. These were etched out of the quartz, to reveal not more than a dozen or so fine specimen of these sharp, elegant wires and elongated crystals. This one is particularly nice, and would be one of the larger thumbnail-sized specimens produced. It is associated with minor ferberite, which is highly unusual. Complete all around, and intricate in detail. 4.8 grams, this is a "nest" of wires and air.
