Naica has produced many great specimens over the years, and for sheer individual quality I would rank this one in the upper tier. These highly complex and varied Fluorites are GEM TRANSPARENT and nearly colorless (just a hint of delicate purplish-blue tint), and water clear. The largest is 3.1 cm, and the Fluorites populate both sides of the specimen so you have your choice of display angles, or you can have both sides visible. The beige Calcites completely cover both sides, and they have a fiery orange fluorescence that can even be easily seen right through the Fluorites. Overall, this is a quality, aesthetic small cabinet specimen of highly unusual nature for a mine which produced so many in its (past) heyday. These are like little jewels!
