This is a large, very elegant, yet robust single crystal of Pyromorphite showing deep hoppered growth. It's essentially a single crystal displaying tapered and hoppered growth with intricate geometry. The color of this Pyromorphite is an intense, almost fluorescent, apple green and has a bright waxy luster. The internal structure of the hopper is quite complex. The crystal is complete all around with only one tiny ding on an edge. It shows nicely all around from top to bottom! From 2010 finds at the Daoping Mine lead-zinc mine. Joe Budd Photos.
