A profuse amount of lustrous, bright magenta colored Roselite crystals cover much of the display surface of this exceptional small cabinet piece from Bou Azzer, Morocco. The Roselite occurs as super lustrous, interlaced aggregates of stout prismatic crystals between 2 and 7 mm in maximum dimension that display the most intense bright magenta color! The dense coverage of Roselite cascades down the front of the piece in a central depression in the matrix and they display prominently. Roselite is a hydrated calcium-cobalt arsenate and is the cobalt analogue of Wendwilsonite; the two often occur together and may do so on this piece.
