Pretty apple-greenish-yellow Adamite clusters highlight this small-cabinet sized specimen from the Christiana Mine in Lavrion. The habit it typical for the locality (it looks rounded but is actually composed of crystals at close inspection), and the smaller Adamite has a hint of a more classic, elongated crystallization. The luster is good, which enhances the texture along the surfaces. Like Mexican material, these Adamites have a bright, neon-green fluorescence. This translucent Adamite is complemented by attractive, sugary balls of white, microcrystalline Calcite, and both contrast nicely with the weathered, crystalline matrix. This is a good example from the famous 2017 find, presenting two large clusters on contrasting matrix.
