A gorgeous, colorful mix of aragonite on pink cobalt-rich aragonite, from the Wenshan County area that produces this pink varietal only very rarely. Trimmed out of a much larger specimen I purchased in Southern China myself, this is a beautiful piece. It came off of a 2-foot-wide piece that was excavated with a diamond chainsaw and shown to me on the ground. I have not seen others quite so beautifully colored, from here. I have seen more intense saturation rarely, and often a more pale color, but this is a pleasing and strong pink that is uncommon.
