Pale, apple-green Adamite in large clusters of growth is the focus on this choice small-cabinet specimen from the Christiana Mine in Lavrion. The growth habit begins as radial growth and, instead of terminating in the classic pinwheel form, the Adamite is more botryoidal. The luster, which enhances the texture along the surface of the botryoids, is waxy and bright in person. This is a significant, large example of Adamite for greece, in terms of crystal size and uniformity of color. Absolutely classic is the neon-green fluorescence that you find so often with Adamite, particularly the more yellow varieties. This translucent Adamite is complemented by sugary balls of white, microcrystalline Calcites, and both contrast nicely with the multi-hued gossan matrix. This is an excellent example from the famous 2017 find.
