Bright pink botryoids of Cobaltoan Aragonite are graced with stark white, divergent fascicles of a later generation of Aragonite without cobalt. These colorful Aragonites were from a small find in 2017 and have great aesthetics. The undulating botryoidal surface of the Cobaltoan Aragonite is composed of a myriad of individual crystals that subtly scintillate. The sprays of late-stage, acicular Aragonite crystals to 7mm are congregated along the front basal portion of the piece. There is some minor bruising to some of these that don't detract from the overall visual appeal of the piece. An attractive small cabinet piece from Yunnan Province in China. Unusual material, showing up only infrequently on the market in China. We buy all we can!
