This is a very aesthetic and colorful Adamite specimen that features a radial fan of crystals atop the piece along with a couple of companion clusters at its base. The top cluster measures 2.7 cm across comprised of numerous, radially divergent, translucent, bright yellow-green Adamite and the other two, smaller, radial fans measure 2.4 and 1.8 cm across, respectively. The Adamite crystals that compose the aggregates just scintillate with any incident light. The crystals are perched on an orange-brown limonite matrix for ultimate contrast. As a bonus, the piece has incredible ultra-neon-green fluorescence under UV light. These are classics of the mid 1980s, and I grew up with them coming out. Even at the time, I would have chosen this over many others for the balance of the specimen, but most importantly for the high level of both color and sparkly luster present...few specimens have all three of those qualities.
