The ArkenstoneFeatured
Beautifully centered atop other fingers of prehnite is a spire reaching 2.5 cm in length accented by a sidecar, gemmy calcite. The prehnite fingers are very lustrous, translucent, and exhibit a light apple-green color. A later generation of lustrous and translucent, colorless calcite crystals, to 1.75 cm, has draped the prehnite fingers in an aesthetic combination. The bottom side of the specimen clearly shows hollow casts of what once were anhydrite. This is a dramatic, showy piece, with excellent 3-dimensional mounded form
