Augelite and Lazulite

This is a highly unusual specimen in several regards. The augelite crystals, obviously, are huge for the locale (to nearly 2 cm). Also, they are partially included by specks of blue lazulite, giving them a blue rim around the edges that is unique in my experience. The phosphate deposits of the Yukon are one of the world's great sources of a suite of rare phosphate species, and the Ordway collection was known for them over the years. Self-collected by Al Ordway in the 1970s. It was long in his display collection and comes with a custom label to that effect.
