A very sculptural specimen with a classic hexagonal, translucent calcite crystal perched atop matrix. The crystal measures 3.5 cm across and is very 3-dimensional, and complete all around except for a very minor edge wear which could in any case be minimized if so desired with a few drops of weak acid. But as it is, it looks more antique, and I like it that way. Quite a nice calcite, showing stereotypical form.
