A rare gem-quality aquamarine crystal, from Massachusetts of all places! These American aquamarines are so seldom found, and seen, that most people do not know they existed in the old days although examples persist in museums like Harvard and the Smithsonian. This is truly a little gem...and would stand out in any American-focused thumbnail suite as a shocking surprise. This was part of the significant and large East Coast suite of both Albert Petereit (early 1900s) and the Shields Flynn collection.
