Superb and aesthetic, this cast of Pyromorphite after Cerussite has a huge amount of eye appeal. The Pyromorphite has a lovely and uniform green color, and the surface just sparkles from the microcrystalline Pyromorphite crystals. There are numerous places where the Pyros are fully developed into classic, barrel-shaped crystals to several mm, and the luster on the them is glassy and superb. These visuals only serve to enhance the greatest features of all, which the are euhedral casts after the original Cerussite crystals. These well-formed casts are over 1 cm in size and they are visually and mineralogically interesting. Able to be appreciated from both over and under (inside and outside), I have not seen but a handful of these from the famous Daoping Mine. A onetime find, UNIQUE to this locality.
