Bipyramidal Wulfenites from Los Lamentos are desirable, and rare compared to the normally seen tabular or blocky crystals. This large, single crystal is almost doubly-terminated (the lower tip is contacted) and has good luster. The color is a rich, orange-butterscotch, which is classic for this famous locality. With the crystal perched perfectly on small amount of matrix, you could display this with the crystal vertical or diagonal. Either way creates an outstanding thumbnail. These were found in small quantities in the 1960s or early 1970s. I have not seen an example in this large size quite so well preserved or displayed. It is an important example of the habit, and worthy of any top thumbnail case.
